Alexandra Holt

Food and Nutrition Lead

Alex is the Food and Nutrition Lead for Health Equalities Group, her main focus of work is Food Active, a programme of work to promote healthy weight across the North West.

Alex has a Masters in Human Nutrition, a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Psychology and is a registered member of the Association for Nutrition (AfN). Alex started with Health Equalities Group on a voluntary basis in 2013, whilst studying towards her MSc at the University of Chester.

Prior to this Alex worked in both design and marketing and welfare-to-work before returning to University to pursue a passion for nutrition and health.
 
Outside of work Alex enjoys cooking, keeping fit and travelling.
